Research and Development
As a part of our research and development activities, we established a cooperation with academic institutions and our contract partners.
We execute transfers of biotechnological production methods from laboratory to commercial scale including yield optimization.
We are a holder of:
- Certificate of competence to carry out research and development issued by the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certificate for research and development in the field of natural and technical sciences
We offer our capacities for fermentation processes under laboratory conditions, including working with production strains, cultivation in flasks, and subsequent scale-up in laboratory fermenters of 6l, 30l and 75l volumes up to operating fermenters of 5 m3, 15m3 50m3 and 150m3 volumes.
Our R&D facility is equipped with microbiological laboratories with cleanrooms of A, C and D grade, with a fermentation pilot-scale section and experienced personnel skilled in working with bacteria, streptomyces, yeasts, fungi and genetically modified strains.
